Training Classes
We offer several training classes for Basic Lif Support
In Class Training Info
At GHI we teach all the changes that were made by the American Heart Association as of 2021. The changes are also reflected in the BLS renewal.
This covers core material such as:
- adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)
- foreign-body airway obstruction
- automated external defibrillation
- pregnant victims
This course is recommended (in some cases required) for all healthcare providers including nursing students and CNA’s.
The initial course length is approximately 4 hours.
Course fee is $80.00 (in class), and includes all course materials (to be distributed in class).
You will receive your American Heart Association course completion card at the end of your class. It is valid for two years.
HeartCode (Online) Training Info
This is a self-directed course. The HeartCode BLS is a blended course that is completed online and through skills session(sold separately). The student has to come into the learning center to complete the hands on practice and testing of BLS skills.

Renewal can be done online as well however the cost will be $55 Plus Any Online Fees and the online course is sold separately.
